Cell - a single wet cooling tower.
Wet cooling tower - a device designed to cool down water used in industry with a system allowing heat exchange with the environment. Other names for wet cooling towers:
Air intake shutters - blinds facilitating air intake and protecting the system against the suction of solid objects from the environment.
Wet-bulb temperature - temperature limit, to which it is possible to cool water down in given pressure and temperature conditions.
Mist eliminator - filling minimizing the loss of water caused by the removal of droplets from the cooling tower.
Connections - components supplying water that has to be cooled down to the cooling tower and draining water that has already been cooled.
Water distribution system - pipe system designed to evenly distribute cooled water onto the wet deck surface.
Fan - a device for creating currents and compressing gasses and vapours.
